Assault at Denaby
Ellen McGrathof Denaby, was sumnoned for having assaulted Ann Flannery, of the same place, on 27 June
The Complainant said there was a “row” taking place in the yard outside her house and she went to witness the proceedings.
Defendant came up to her and asked, “. Who’s got my purse?” She replied that she did not know, whereupon defendant struck her in the eye and say “take that” and knocked her against the wall.
Defendant was fined 20s including costs
