Assault on a Police Officer at Conisboro’.
On Wednesday, Charles Arnold, miner, new Conisboro was brought up on remand charged with having been drunk and disorderly and assaulting P.c. Kibler.
On Tuesday night the officer was apprehending the prisoner for being drunk and disorderly, when prisoner struck him in the face and made his nose bleed, and someone kicked him, but he could not say who it was.
Prisoner, who said he did not know what he was doing was fined 5s and 8s. costs for being drunk and 20s. and 8s. costs for the assault
