Assaulting a Constable

There were three charges against John Thomas Hague, a Carter, of Conisborough.

Later on about 11 o’clock, he was called to Castle Street, where there was a disturbance. He went and found prisoner with PC Richie. He was violent, and kicked PC Richie several times.

PC Richie stated that the defendant got his leg fast in his and when he got out his leg was useless. He kicked him several times on going to the station.
