Assaulting the Police.
Frederick Johnson, of Denaby Main, was charged with being drunk and disorderly, and assaulting Police-constable Kendall on August 2nd.
About 8.30 p.m., a man named Hargreaves complained of prisoner’s conduct, and on Police-constable Kendall remonstrating, prisoner struck him several times.
The fine was 3s. and costs for being drunk, and 40s. and costs for the assault, or one month in default.
