Bad Luck for Denaby Player

Denaby United supporters were extremely sorry to hear that the leg injury sustained by centre – forward Austin Egan early In the Midland League match with Notts County Reserves at Tick-hill Square on Saturday was more serious than had at first been feared.

It was discovered at hospital that the right leg was broken.

With the exception of the match with Worksop Egan has been an “ever-present” this season and is leading scorer with 12 goals. Six of these have been scored in the last seven games.

His absence will be a further headache for ‘United in their bid to leave the re-application zone of the Midland League.
