Both Driver C.Balmforth , 72 Clifton Street, Denaby, and his brother in law , Gunner G.Lidster , were in the Territorial Army before the outbreak of war and are now both serving with the same battery in France.
Driver Balmforth worked at Cadeby Colliery and has had 10 days leave so far.
Gunner.Lidster is looking forward to a holiday break next month
