Big Catch at Southam
On Friday. Mr. John Kelly, glass bottle maker of Conisborough, took train to Southam, near Lincoln, to take part in a fishing match on Saturday.
In the event he had a splendid catch in the river Witham of fish. viz., two pike, one weighing 14 ¼ lbs., and the other 11 ½ lbs, 14 lb. of small roach, and a bream weighing 6lb.
