Bruce Woodcock, British, Empire and European heavyweight boxing champion, was photographed with W. Whitehead (Denaby Institute Rovers’ junior team captain) and S. Hartley (senior team captain) and four of the five trophies won by the Rovers last football season, when he went over to Denaby on Friday night to present the Rovers with their awards.
