A Conisborough miner named Charles Mangham was summoned for having discharged stones from a catapult at Conisbrough on 13th of February.

PC Walton proved the case and in answer to the Chairman who asked whether the defendant was a boy, the witness replied amid laughter that he was about 40.

A fine of 2/6 and costs was imposed
