Breach of Colliery Rule

Samuel Gregory, collier, Denaby, was summoned for a breach of special rule 85 at the Denaby Main Colliery, on the 20th .of April, by riding on corve underground, without the consent of the manager or the under – viewer

Mr. H. Hickmott, who prosecuted, said these prosecutions were taken for the protection the workmen.

Defendant, who pleaded guilty, was fined 5s. and costs.
