Breach of Colliery Rules at The Denaby Main Colliery.

John Connor a filler of Denaby was charged with a breach of special rule 10 in force at Cadeby Main Colliery on the 14th of March.

The rule provided that no person should take a lamp into the mine without first being properly examined and secured.

On the date named defendant broke that rale, and the offence was detected by a deputy named John Long.

Ordered to pay 4s. and 16s costs.
