Breach of the Weights and Measures Act at Conisborough

Jane Middlebrook, a married woman of Sheffield, was summoned for trading at Conisborough on Good Friday with weights and a scale that were unstamped.

The Chairman reminded the defendant she was liable to a penalty of £2 in each case and costs.

A fine of 10 shillings and costs was imposed
