Members of the Conisborough U.D.C. met a deputation from the County Highways Committee, to inspect Brook Square on Tuesday, in connection with the proposed one way trafic scheme, and it is understood that the county representatives expressed approval and intend supporting the application to the Ministry of Transport.
It would be preferable if the original scheme to demolish the old buildings could be carried cut, for then there would be a large open space for gyratory traffic. But financial restrictions hold this up at present.
