Burglars at Conisborough.

The residence of Mr. H. Burnle7, Manor View, Park Road, Conisborough was visited by burglars on Monday night, entrance being obtained through a side window.

A good haul was made, the thief or thieves getting away with a quantity of money and jewellery; including a diamond ring and a watch, after thoroughly ransacking the downstairs rooms.

Mr. Burnley, who is a charabanc proprietor, returned from a trip to Southport to find the house in disorder, and his back door open. His wife had retired, and left him a note on the table and the intruders made use of the information it contained, confining themselves to the lower portion of the house, and keeping open an avenue of retreat.
