Buried In The Mine.
After having worked in the Denaby Main Pit all his life, Frederick Nicholson, aged 42, a collier, of Doncaster Road, Conisborough, was caught by a fall of two tons roof and killed on Tuesday.
The Coroner, in recording a verdict of “Accidental death,” said the accident was one of a type which was only too common, and it was one of those which must be classed as inevitable.
There did not appear to have been any immediate “bump.”
