July 1912

Charles William Phillip Radley Insurance Company´s Generous Action.

Dear Sir

I should like you to report in the columns of your newspaper a generous action on the part of the Prudential Insurance Company. My husband, Charles Radley, who was killed in the Cadeby disaster made a proposal for 2d per week on his life on July 8th and was killed on the 9th. No premium had been paid, and no policy issued, but on the matter being brought before the company by Mr. Townsend of Wath, they generously paid the claim in full. For which I am most thankful.

Yours faithfully

J.M. Radley, 75 Balby Street, Denaby Main.
