Cattle released from Fire Threat .

A “Good Neighbour” act saved a valuable heard of capital when fire caused thousands of pounds worth of damage at a Conisbrough farm on Sunday.

Mr Geoffrey Ogley, and his wife were visiting relatives when the fire broke out at Hill Top House Farm, destroying a newly built Dutch barn and hundreds of pounds worth of equipment.

Neighbour Mrs Vera Beedon of Toll Bar House, Hilltop, spotted the blaze and released a herd of about 40 animals.
