Chapel Work At Denaby.

The Primitive Methodists at Denaby Main have; just completed material alterations and improvements to their chapel, at a cost of about £22 and it is satisfactory to know that not only has the money been raised, but ten shillings in addition has been received, as a result of the activity of the collectors.

The chapel has been entirely renovated. A new floor has been laid down, two aisles have been provided instead of one, a gallery has been erected for the choir, and a new vestry has been arranged.

Several lectures have been given by the Rev. J. shepherd (circuit superintendent) on behalf of the funds and on Tuesday night he gave an interesting and instructive address on church work to a large audience. Mr. Ellis presided.

Special reference was made to the work of the lady collectors and others, and to the help rendered by Mr. Barlow, the society steward.
