Checkweigh Ballot – Result
The third and final Ballot for the position of checkweighman at the Denaby colliery took place on Tuesday.
The final candidates were Samuel Stubbs and Arthur Roberts and the result of the poll was the election of the former.
The figures were: Stubbs 440, Roberts 428
The result is subject to the confirmation of the Checkweigh fund.
