Petty Officer J H Cheetham (R.N.D.)

of 37 Firbeck Street, Denaby Main, has been home on 10 days leave, after 2 years active service.

On Christmas Day he was awarded the Military Medal for good work done during the Battle of Beaumont Hamel.

He enlisted on September 1st 1914, is married, and has three children
