Chorister 32 Years.
Presentations at Denaby Main. Mr. W. Wilkinson, of Bridlington, formerly of Denaby Main, was, on Saturday night, presented with an oak chiming clock and a dinner gong, in the new Mission Hall, Denaby Main, where a social was held.
Mr. Wilkinson has been a chorister at All Saints’ Church for 32 years, and occupied every position in the church from Sunday school superintendent to Vicar’s warden. He was mainly responsible for the vestry extensions and the building of tho Mission Hall.
The presentations were made by Mr. J. P. Engledow, on behalf of the congregation, and by Mr. J. Thompson, the oldest chorister, for the choir.
