Hepworth Hall.

The Rev. G. Cooke, of Goldthorpe, was the special preacher at Epworth Hall on Sunday evening at the foreign missions anniversary.

On Tuesday evening an address on the work of the Wesley Mission in Hyderabad was given by the Hey. A. P. Gilbertson.

Mr. C. Portrey presided at the meeting and was supported by Pastor G. Jarrett.

Socials.

A whist drive was bold in the Church Hall last Thursday in aid of church extension funds.

Mr. T. Peters was the M.C. and the prize winners were Mrs G. L. Robinson, Miss Phipps, Mr. Trundell, Mrs. Kelsall and Mr. Burdett.

A dance was held in the Church Hall on Friday and the proceed, devoted to the Sunday School fund. Mr. E. Sheldrake was M.C. and the Lyric Band provided the music.
