Coal Trade with Hull
The Hull coal trade return for August is a cheerful document, putting a better fishing Yorkshire trade and it is warm for some time past. There were forwarded to the port last month 231,488 tons of coal, as compared with 194,488 tons in August 1895, an increase of 37,000 tons or 19%.
Denaby Main alone, which as usual, heads a list, send 2596 tons more coal than the whole dozen West Yorkshire pits.
