A Conisboro’ Collier on Licensed Premises During Prohibited Hours
George Ackroyd, collier, of Conisboro’, was charged with being on licensed premises during prohibited hours.
Police-constable Garnett deposed that, on the 13th inst., he was on duty at Braithwell and visited the Red Lion Inn, where he found the defendant. There were also four other Conisboro’ men in the house.
Defendant said he did not know that he was doing wrong, and he was sorry.
Fined 2s. 6d. and 16s. costs.
