Colliery Offences

For breach of a special rule by neglecting to put a drag on a train of tubs whilst travelling down an incline, three pony drivers employed at the Denaby colliery, Arthur Skelton and Oscar Grooock, of Mexborough, and Leonard Fletcher of Denaby, were fined various amounts.

For disobeying rules in the Cadeby mine, Joseph Bradbury, (improperly withdrawing props) and Michael McHale (using prohibited road), colliers, of Denaby, were each fined 5s. and costs.
