Conisboro’ Allotment Society
The second annual show arranged by the Conisborough Allotment Society was held in the Church Hall on Saturday and proved a great success.
Court. Irad Webster, the president of the Society, was unable to be present to open the show and hip eon, Coun. J. I. Webster, deputised for him.
Mr. T. G. Forster, the chairman of the Society, made a further appeal for members and mentioned some of the work done by the Society. The exhibits were not quite so numerous as last year, he said, but were of a higher quality and presented a difficult task to Mr. F. Milner, of Thorne, who was the judge.
Mr. H. Shacklock and the committee had made the fullest arrangements and the event went extremely well.
