The half-yearly meeting took place on Saturday night. Mr. J. Hargrave, the president, presiding, and was supported by Mr. A. Walker, the secretary, and Mr. Mosby, one of the trustees. There was a fair attendance of members.
The Secretary read the half-yearly balance-sheet, which showed that £500 had been received for refreshments, etc., and also a profit for the half-year of £40.
Mr. Barnes, the auditor, certified to the correctness of the accounts. On the motion of the Chairman, seconded by Mr. Keys, the balance sheet was passed.
The Chairman announced the result of the election of officers, the following being declared duly elected to the Committee of Management: Messrs. Darby, Gregory, Hume, Wilkinson, and Wray.
A vote of thanks to the chairman closed the proceedings.
