The body of Joseph Renshaw (50), miner, Blythe Street, New Conisborough, was found on Thursday hanging by a rope from the banister in the attic of his home.

Prison for Assault

George A. Holgate, pony driver, Denaby, charged at Doncaster.on Saturday with assaulting Harriett Hambrey at Conisborough on the 22nd February , was committed to prison for one month.

Fat Fire

Just before six o’clock, yesterday morning, one wing of the works of Messrs Braim and Cooper, Ltd., fat refiners, Conisborough, was found ablaze, but the fire was soon got under control.
