Conisboro’ Men’s Theft

For stealing 19 fence rails valued at £1 from the Conyers Estate Co., at Conisboro’, Ernest Haigh (29), and Horace Haigh (19), both of Claremont Avenue, Conisboro, were fined £2 each at Doncaster on Tuesday.

Mr. C. D. Marshall prosecuting said the Conyers Estate Co. managed the Earl of Yarborough’s estates in the Conisboro’ district, and said the stolen fence rails, which were taken from a field off Kearsley Lane, were found on defendant’s allotment.
