Conisboro’ Nuisance at Mexboro’
George Giew, miner, New Conisboro’, was summoned for disorderly conduct and refusing to quit the Albion Inn, Mexboro’, on the 31st ult.
Defendant pleaded guilty.
Frank Blunt, miner, Swinton, said on Saturday night he was “waiting” at the Albion Inn. The defendant came in about 6.30, and asked for a glass of beer, and witness, thinking he had had sufficient, refused to serve him, and asked him to leave the premises.
Defendant then used bad language, and wanted to fight. Ultimately P.C. Farr was called and ejected him.
Defendant was ordered to pay 5s. and 11s. 6d. costs.
