Conisboro’ Rate Arrears.

At last night’s meeting of the Conisborough Urban Council, it was stated that the Denaby and Cadeby Colliery Company had obtained a reduction of assessment of £2.910 and, therefore. asked for a rebate of £1.236 15s. on the rate they had paid up to March 31st,

The Council decided to take the question tip with the County Council with a view to a rebate of the County’s portion of the precept.

It was decided to take action against all persons in arrears of rates up to March 31st last, the amount involved being about £5,000.
