– The first match in connection with these clubs was played at Thornhill, on saturday last.
P. Lambert, S. Mangham, H. Smith, and J. Downes were too fast in their forward play for Consibro’ and by their joint efforts they secured four goals.
Consibro’, however managed to place one goal to their credit.
For Thornhill, the back play of G. Hagus and T. Tierney was much admired.
