Conisborough 80 Rotherham 110
Conisborough met Rotherham on Saturday in the Rotherham and District League. The result of the match was somewhat peculiar. Conisborough were 30 runs behind and were trying to play out time, but the very last ball of the very last over upset the tenth wicket and gave the match to Rotherham. E. H. Sharp with 27, and H. J. Sharp with 21, both batted well for the losing side. Has anyone noticed what hard luck Conisborough are having just now?
To-morrow Rotherham visit Conisborough, when I hope the Castle men will take the opportunity of revenge.
H. H. Sharp (27) and H. J. Sharp (21) batted in fine form for Conisborough.
