Conisborough Ambulance Problems

When Councillor C. E. Webster went to fetch the ambulance on Sunday night for the injured in the motor-cycle accident on Doncaster Road, he found the lights not in working order, and investigation showed that the accumulator had run dry.

This sort of thing should not happen and someone should be made responsible for attending to those little details which mean so much in an emergency.

He took his own car back to do the job, but found that a Denaby constable had already obliged.
