Conisborough Church Needs.
The Rev. W. A. Strawbridge, Vicar Conisborough, has just issued a second appeal to his church people and the general public for funds towards the Sunday School extension, which he points out is most urgently needed.
The work of enlargement and improvement is estimated to cost £850, and towards this £541 14s. 4d. was in the treasurers’ hands, £77 2s. private promises, leaving some £230 to be raised.
Further donations received have amounted to £2O 11s., and the total obtained to date is 7s.
Since the last census it is stated that the population of the ecclesiastical parish of Conisborough has increased by more than 60 per cent.
