Conisborough Complaint
Buses Pass Stops with Empty Seats

Double-decker buses pass through Conisbrough and Denaby without stopping even if the top deck is nearly empty – according to chairman of Conisborough Urban Council, Ald. Ben Roberts, J, P.

He told the over councillors at Conisborough Urban Council meeting last week that he was often passed by at a bus stop by double-deckers when the lower deck was full but when there was plenty of seats in the upper deck.

The drivers looked around to see if the bus is full, see that the lower deck is full and assume the whole buses full, he said.

“Conductresses should tell the drivers if there are still some empty seats upstairs or the upstairs of the bus should be filled first, said Ald. Roberts.
