Conisborough Cricket Club
The Conisborough Cricket Club held its annual meeting the Red Lion Hotel yesterday, Mr. F. Ogley, the president, presiding.
The club finished with a slight credit balance, but the hon. secretary recently spoke strongly on the subject of the indifference of players. They had, he said, thrown matches away in the South Yorkshire League and Swinton Alliance by taking the field upon occasions with only six men. They simply must pull one way.
The officials were re-elected, and it was decided to re-enter the South Yorkshire League, leaving the remainder the fixtures to be filled up friendlies.
