Conisborough Cricket Club.
At the annual meeting of the cricket, club, it was stated by the treasurer, Mr. W. W. Norwood, that in spite of the expenditure during the last season, amounting to £100 8s. 1d there was balance in hand of £58 8s 8d.
It was also stated that the Ball Committee intended to give them £15.
Mr. G. Walker, JP-, was re-elected President; captain of the 1st team, the Rev W A Strawbridge; vice-captain, Mr. A- Walker; captain 2nd team Mr W Appleyard; vice-captain Mr F martin; captain Thursday team, Mr. W W Norwood vice-captain, Mr. W. Appleyard.
A professional named Foster, of Earl Shilton, has been engaged for next season.
It was decided that the annual dinner should be held on March 31st and the sports on Feast Saturday.
