Conisborough Cricket Club – Use of Bad Language

At the annual meeting of the Conisborough cricket club I was pleased to see that a very strong resolution was passed, on the motion of Mr. Savile condemning the use of bad language in the cricket feel.

As the mover of the resolution pointed out,   this kind of thing properly kept many people away from the matches.

Whenever I have gone up to watch a cricket match, I have always found a certain party of “jolliers” present whose remarks were not couched in the choicest language.

Thank you Mr Savile, for trying to put a stop to this kind of thing.
