Cricket Tour
A most interesting tour was made by a good number of members of the cricket club during Whit week, with matches with several clubs en route.
The first match to play was at Driffield, where the home team won by 11 runs.
At Whitby the Conisborough team won their only match.
The result at Scarborough was a drawn game, in which Ben Kelly scored 32 not out, and T. Milnes 30.
The Ganton match did not result in favour of the visitors while at Malton no play was possible, owing to rain.
It might be mentioned that during the tour T. Milnes took 16 wickets for 49 runs.
