Conisborough Cricketer at Trent Bridge

J. Richards junr., A member of Denaby Cricket Club. Has received an invitation to the Trent bridge nets on Friday, August 7^{. He} was born Hughwaite., His father, who now plays for conisborough C. C., formerly played for new Hucknall colliery. Richard began his cricketing career with Conisbrough Cliff sports.

He had 7 innings, scoring 288 runs been out on two occasions. He also took part in the Denaby and Cadeby C. C knockout competition last season, scoring 246 runs for once out in four innings.

This season he began with Conisbrough and after three games was transferred to Denaby. So far at Denaby has scored 144 runs for four company innings in the Doncaster league and in the Yorkshire Council 101 for two completed innings. He is a left-hand bat and bowler.
