Conisborough False Pretences Charge Dismissed
A case of alleged false pretences against Lewis Nettleship, filler, Conisborough, brought forward by the Denaby and Cadeby Main Colliery Company was at Doncaster today dismissed.
The charge was one of defendant allegedly on 13 October transferred the “Motties” from one lot of tubs to another, so as to make them appear as if they had been filled by him.
There was no evidence of defendant having been seen to commit the alleged offence, and although magistrates said the case had been properly brought, yet there was a lack of proof.
