Conisborough Football Club

The sentence of the Football Association on the Conisborough Football Club, although admittedly just, is nevertheless looked upon as rather severe, considering it was only a young and rising club.

No doubt the bearing of false witness by the officials at the meetings that were called for the purpose of investigating the protests has led to the censure being more severe than would otherwise have been the case, find the members who are suspended, but who have had no hand in the management, must feel considerably annoyed at being made victims.

Still it will do a good deal towards clearing the air in football circles, and it will also teach clubs to be careful what teams they play in cup ties.
