Conisborough Improvement.
At Doncaster, yesterday, the Doncaster Rural Council made application in connection with the proposed improvement and widening of Station Road at Conisborough.
It is proposed to stop up and divert a strip of the road, 155 yards in length, and about lift, wide, lying between the Station Hotel and the Station, and to throw into the existing road two other pieces of land, one 243 yards long and 9ft. wide, and the other a strip of land the westerly side of the Doncaster Road, yards long and 7ft. wide.
Mr. Montagu is the owner of the land, and he gives up 43 yards and 243 yards and takes exchange 155 yards from the existing road.
