Conisborough Notes
Measles is prevalent locally and due care should be exercised. The disease is treated lightly, but may have serious after-effects.
A new record for infantile mortality was establish last quarter, when the rate was 19.2 per 1000 births.
This is the lowest ever, and is cause for congratulation.
The rate for the great towns and county boroughs was 48.2 for the same period. The birth rate was 22.8 and the death rate 6.8.
