Damage to Trees.

Last Wednesday night a large tree situated in the castle grounds was set on fire, and the whole trunk was enveloped in flames, which were not entirely quenched until the following day. The tree collapsed on Thursday.

Thus two of the largest former trees are lying on the ground at present.
