Conisborough Pavilion Broken Into

Five boys, aged 10 to 15, who were alleged to have broken into Conisborough cricket pavilion, drunk bottles of beer and taken bottles away with them, appeared at Doncaster West Riding Juvenile Court on Wednesday.

The thirteen summonses against the boys included accusations of entering a garage and stealing coal. All the boys pleaded guilty

One boy was fined £3. Three were placed on probation for twelve months, two being ordered to pay 10s. costs.

The remaining 13-year-old boy who admitted being first to enter the pavilion and was summoned on six counts, was ordered to receive six strokes of the birch.
