Conservative Victory

The election of two Rural District Councillors to represent Conisborough on the Rural District Council took place Saturday. The candidates were Mr. W. W. Norwood, one of the retiring members. Mr. F. Ogley nominated by the Conservative Association, and Messrs J. Brocklesby and Wray put forward by the Liberal Association.

Mr. S. Whitfield, the second retiring representative in the Conservative interest, did not seek re-election. The votes were counted at the Board School, Conisborough, and the result declared on Saturday night, as follows :—
