Conisbro’ Assault Case.
Joseph Brannan, collier New Conisbro’, was summoned at the Doncaster West Riding Police Court on Saturday, for having assaulted Luke Watson at Conisbro’ on the 3rd inst.
The parties met at the Station Inn, Conisbro and complainant asked the defendant to repay some money which he had borrowed.
Defendant refused to do so and struck, complainant a heavy blow in the eye.
An inclusive penalty of 40s. was imposed.
