Conisbro’ Working Men’s Club

A splendid library has just been established and some good reading matter supplied to the members of this club; bagatelle boards of the finest description have also been added, and there will shortly be plenty of recreation for the working classes.

Special vocalists were engaged last week for the accommodation of more music-loving members.

Mr. Tony Merrill and his faithful partner (Miss Lizzie Haydon) have previously entertained the members in popular style, and last week they had a right royal welcome.

Both are excellent vocalists, and whilst Miss Haydon effectually entertained her audience, “Tony” was always popular, with bright, pleasing items.
